For more than 23 years, The Hull Institute has been a respected leader in outpatient eating disorder treatment in Ohio. Under the ownership of Ann Hull Kuster, LISW-S, MBA we have four Northeast Ohio locations and a growing virtual platform, we provide independent contractors with the opportunity to develop and maintain a specialized eating disorder practice while benefiting from administrative support, referral opportunities, and access to a well-established professional network.
We are seeking licensed clinicians who are passionate about helping individuals and families affected by eating disorders and who value clinical excellence, professional autonomy, and ethical practice.
This Opportunity May Be a Good Fit For Clinicians Who:
- Have experience treating eating disorders or a strong interest in developing expertise in this specialty area
- Enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, and families, especially children and adolescents with ARFID
- Are interested in maintaining a caseload of approximately 7 or more clients per week with room to grow
- Value serving diverse and historically underserved populations
- Prefer providing the majority of services in person
- Demonstrate strong ethical standards, sound clinical judgment, and professional boundaries
- Seek consultation and professional dialogue when appropriate while maintaining independent responsibility for clinical decision-making

Responsibilities
Independent contractors are responsible for:
- Providing psychotherapy services to individuals experiencing eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions
- Maintaining appropriate clinical records and documentation
- Communicating and coordinating care with other treatment providers when clinically indicated and authorized
- Practicing in accordance with HIPAA requirements, licensing board regulations, professional ethics, and applicable coding standards
- Exercising independent clinical judgment in the assessment and treatment of clients
Qualifications
Required
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related clinical field
- Current Ohio professional license in good standing
- Training in evidence-based therapeutic practices
- Clinical experience providing psychotherapy services
- Ability to provide at least 60% of services in person
Preferred
- Independent licensure (LPCC, LISW, LMFT, or equivalent)
- Experience working with eating disorders
- Bilingual proficiency
